An Erotic Scene from A Dangerous Beauty

One of the more interesting movies I've seen is A Dangerous Beauty starring Catherine McCormack as Veronica Franco a courtesan in 16th century Venice. The movie begins with her as a virginal ingenue under the tutelage of her mother (played by Jacqueline Bisset), a former courtesan who still wields influence with the powerful men in governance. At that time, many women were prevented from learning anything beyond domestic skills. Young Veronica, who has had her heart broken by the heir of a monied family (Russell Sewell) because of her penury, determines that she will not live by the restraints of other women. Initially Veronica resisted her mother's insistence of plying sexual wares, but after her heartbreak, she decides that she will grab whatever power available to her, even if it means sleeping her way through half the city. Of course, she supersedes her mother's reputation as she becomes the most sought after courtesan of her time - much to the chagrin of the married women in the city who conspire to bring her down, along with a jilted suitor with much influence.

During the young woman's tutelage, the older, retired courtesan spares no lesson in teaching her shy daughter  how to sexually please a man. Below is a pivotal scene in Veronica's "lesson."
