Saturday, February 17, 2007 Snow exhaustion In the last few days, I've push-broomed (not exactly shoveled), salted, and cleared mounds of snow, only to have it come down again within hours. I've paid out money for young neighborhood men to shovel it away, only to have it come down again within hours. The other day, more push-brooming (it's effective when the snow is still soft) and the paths are cleared again. And then I wake up to see what - that it's snowing again! If you can't tell by now, I'm freakin' tired of snow (as well as temperatures hovering just above arctic). The song "Blame Canada" comes to mind on days like these, but actually I think Canada is the buffer between us and Antarctica, so Canada you stay right where you are. And I'll go get my push broom.
