Saturday, May 05, 2007 Another WTF post I stopped at Lynn Viehl's blog and found this post about some of the email she's received from some authors who are either seriously mental or have been puffing on some extreme ganga weed. This is the one that really gets me: Dear Blog Owner: I am writing this to inform you that I have started a new blog named Paperback Seller/Paperback Reviewer/Paperback Collector/Paperback Basher/Paperback Copy-Editor/Paperback Critic. I love the Beatles, I have been thinking about using this name for two/four/six/twenty years and it's my Constitutional right to use it. This has nothing to do with the traffic you get at PBW that you really don't deserve, because I think your blog is terrible. But since the names are conflicting you should change yours, because I'm not changing mine. Sincerely, Anonymous Blogger At first, I thought she was just posting some amusing what-if's, but come to find out in her comments that someone actually sent this to her and she's restructured it verbatim to protect the source. I just don't know anymore. Seems people are getting crazier, or I'm becoming more impatient with shit. The more I surf the net (and I've been at this some eight or nine years), the more I realize that adults are really just children who've become a little more sophisticated with their playground antics.
