Saturday, August 04, 2007 Masques V Nominated for Award Masques V is one of the contenders for Best Horror Anthology for this year's International Horror Guild Awards. Awards will be presented November 1 during the World Fantasy Convention in Sarasota Springs, NY. Since I have a short story included in the anthology, I'm thrilled, but I know that basically riding on the coattails of some horror luminaries. But while I'm riding, I get to go Yippee! at least this once before I have to step off back to reality. Even being biased, I have to admit that the anthology included some excellent contributions, so, of course, I hope it wins. Question: if it does win, do I get to label myself "Award Winning Author?"
