Tuesday, February 26, 2008 ![]() Yeah, because race and age should be "compatible" in a relationship Can anyone figure out what irks me about the eHarmony commercials? It's like they don't realize that everybody shouldn't have to be "uniform," that it's OK to show at least one interracial couple or even a couple with a marked age difference. Maybe I'm naive, but I hold to the belief that compatibility isn't necessarily defined by superficial genetic markers or phenotypes. Let's throw some variables into that eHarmony equation, why don't we? It's the 21st century after all and no reason to give heed to the racial "purists" out there. I'm guessing that if eHarmony founder Neil Clark Warren had his way, the colors purple or green wouldn't exist - after all, those are "mixed" colors. And yet God bathed the earth in green. Hmmm...wonder what He was trying to say? Labels: Ads and Commercials, Race
