Thursday, December 10, 2009 Dawn - "Where Am I?" While perusing Youtube, I discovered this small scene from a dramatization of Octavia Butler's Dawn, the first book of her Xenogenesis series. In this scene, Lilith meets a member of the Oankali race who have just taken over Earth. Lilith is the only human allowed to be awakened from a 100-year stasis in order to find out exactly what the Oankali want with the captured humans. For right now, this is the only scene I have found but will be searching for more. BTW, The actress portraying Lilith is the lovely Eritrean actress Ella Thomas. Labels: scifi
