TOOL & BAD BOYS Short, Short Ebooks |
Saturday, June 03, 2006 Congratulations, Gary! Just found out that my friend, writer Gary Braunbeck, has three works nominated for Bram Stoker awards. And the nominations are well-deserved as Gary is a phenomenal writer. Here are the works and the categories for which they are nominated: Keepers (Leisure Books) Nominated for Superior Achievement in the Novel, 2005 Read my previous review of Keepers.) In The Midnight Museum (Necessary Evil Press) Nominated for Superior Achievement in Long Fiction, 2005 We Now Pause for Station Identification (Endeavor Press) Nominated for Superior Achievement in Short Fiction, 2005 UPDATE: Gary won the 2005 Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Short Fiction for his We Now Pause for Station Identification. Again, congrats, Gary. See a video of Gary's reading from "We Now Pause..." at a convention. It is a chilling apocalyptic tale.
