TOOL & BAD BOYS Short, Short Ebooks |
Saturday, August 26, 2006 Livin' like it's 1955 At least one school bus driver in Red Parish Louisiana seems to think we're back in 1955 before Rosa Parks sat down and refused to get up. How else to explain her designating the front seats for the white students and the lone two seats in the back for nine black students, forcing the younger children to sit on the laps of the older to be accommodated. Now you know the NAACP is all over this and they're not going to just stop with the driver; they want the whole school system looked at. As the NAACP district vice president James Panell noted, "If the smoke is there, then there's probably fire somewhere else." And "At this point, it is extremely alarming. We fought that battle 50 years ago, and we won. Why is this happening again?" Maybe that answer is in the comment by a poster named Tyrone, who had this to say (among other things) in response to the article which ran in The Shreveport Times: "We can live fine without blacks." Unfortunately, more than a few feel this way, so no wonder we have incidents like this one in Louisiana (I'm not going to even talk regional racism, because it's just as bad up north). Of course, another idiot commenter chose to defend the bus driver's actions by bringing up the equally stupid case of a black bus driving hitting a white disabled student. Here's my take on both incidents: the drivers were idiots and should be fired, no matter their race. Case closed. It seems that race relations have been left in the hands of the retards, idiots and interbred, all of them quite virilent and quite vocal. It's time that we divide along the true demarcation: normal folks versus crazy folks (instead of the assinine Survivor team breakdowns coming up next season). Yes, normal folks have their prejudices, but I'm naive enough to believe that normal folks can do some real self-examination and realize their prejudices whereas folks like Tyrone will continually need to diminish others to provide a stepping stone for his ego and will hold on to his hateful beliefs like a newborn to a tit.
