Friday, May 18, 2007 Classic TV moment A pivotal scene from the 70's show Good Times where Florida Evans finally allows herself to mourn the loss of her husband James, killed in an auto accident prior to the family's move to Mississippi where James had found a good-paying job. Up until this moment, Florida had seemingly accepted James' death, determining to think of his life with celebration, to the consternation of her grieving children, who wondered whether their mother even missed their father. I remember the tears I shed at this scene. Labels: Television
