TOOL & BAD BOYS Short, Short Ebooks |
Monday, October 17, 2005 Please, please someone help me understand... ...why some people don't wash their hands after using the washroom. I see you walking out of the stall and you head straight for the door. Or I'm in the stall, and I hear the flush next door, hear the door open...then hear the main bathroom door open and close. But no sound of water in between. What's going on here? To the perpetrators (and you know who you are): Is it that you think the soap and water are toxic and will do you harm? (Like your "leavings" won't?) Do you think your (fill in the blank) is so pure, you need to share with the rest of us? Or is this some sort of rebellion against...who? what? Society? Your co-workers? Mommy and Daddy, who made you wash your wee liddle hands when you were younger and made you so angry, you declared to yourself, "by golly, when I grow up, I'll never wash my hands again! So there, Mommy!" Can anyone clue me in? I'm at a loss here. With the spread of disease and germs, does it make any sense to anyone? As it is, I no longer eat communal food at the office and am hesitant to shake hands with anyone. I keep sanitary wipes nearby just in case. For those of you who don't know the protocols of good hand washing (and you know who you are), study the schematic below - study it well:
