Sunday, April 30, 2006 A little tale about motes and beams Y'all remember that Bible passage from Matthew 7:1-5: 1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." A sermon that is probably lost on ole brother Rushie here. But if he would take the time to read, I'm sure he would find it in his heart to have compassion for his fellow druggies...Not. Oh, well, the only thing I have to say is "thou hypocrite...get yo'self drug free before thou starts castigating on all of them druggies you say belong in jail. Or under it. Just one question: where'st art thou? Oh, in your mansion shooting up pray tell? Get thee to the jailhouse, hypocrite! Get thee to the jailhouse!" And another thing - anybody with the middle name Hundson ain't in no position to be harping on anybody. Pic snatched from Shakespeare's Sister
