Saturday, July 08, 2006 Another WTF moment  The blogosphere and message boards are buzzing about the latest Sony billboard. Obviously, some folks think any controversy equals marketing buzz, but as one article points out, this stupid move may come back to bite Sony on the ass.  If at least fifty percent of the targeted audience is as offended as I am, then the campaign is going to tank, but since this is aimed at gamers, you never know. Just look at the ad. Look at the aggressive stance of the white woman as she grabs the black woman's face, and the black woman's seeming docility, coupled with the line "White is coming." All of this speaks more on what was in the ad creator's head than about any particular Sony product. Just stupid. And racist. Yeah, I said it.Which leads me to ask, "What the fuck?"
